Press Release:

San Diego (April 28, 2022) ALBION SC has announced the expansion within the ALBION SC National Affiliate program, welcoming Le Jardin Soccer Academy to join ALBION SC Hawaii.  The new relationship will expand the ALBION SC National Affiliation and strengthen the overall footprint for ALBION SC in the Hawaii market.  ALBION SC, with over 10,000 players and clubs throughout the country, is quickly becoming one of the largest youth clubs in the US and a great vehicle to advance soccer in this country, establishing themselves as market leaders.

Former Le Jardin Soccer Academy, now part of ALBION SC Hawaii, connects the club with one of the most Elite clubs in the nation.  As a result, ALBION SC Hawaii provides a platform for immediate national recognition and receives significant operational and strategic support.  In addition, by joining ALBION SC Hawaii, Le Jardin Soccer Academy can now benefit from the resources, structure, game model, and training methodology.   The overall network will provide a player's pathway and help accelerate where this club is looking to be inside the next 3-5 years.

"ALBION SC Hawaii, led by Brent Nunes, has always had a great vision to provide players development on Maui and throughout the Islands.  Brent Nunes and his staff have so much to offer, and growth is inevitable with the support of the entire ALBION network.  Over the years, we have seen our Hawaii staff develop top players and provide a pathway to top collegiate programs, MLS NEXT academies, and the girls GA.  We are all very excited to see ALBION SC Hawaii become more successful in Hawaii.  We know this will be just the start of being the absolute model club in the market and the leader of player development in Hawaii." - Noah Gins, CEO, ALBION SC.

ALBION SC Hawaii will expand its services and opportunities throughout the area.  Teams currently compete in the USYS and US Club Soccer models.  ALBION SC Hawaii will continue to send players into the National Elite Platform within ALBION SC. Additionally, players will be part of top ALBION SC teams during the regular season and throughout the year.  Elite players will gain opportunities to participate in MLS NEXT/EA and GA/DPL.

"This is a great time for our ALBION SC ʻOhana.  We are looking forward to sharing the ALBION vision of player development, training methodology, game model, and player pathway with Oahu's motivated players and families.  In addition, this move will also allow some of the great soccer minds and leaders within Hawaii to work closely together and collaborate to improve the game at all levels.  This partnership is truly the start to something great, and we are excited to get to work!" Brent Nunes, Technical Director, ALBION SC Hawaii.

Additionally, athletes and teams will gain opportunities to compete in various events like ALBION CUP National Showcase and ALBION SC Affiliate Showcases.  We also look forward to the ALBION SC NATIONAL Elite Showcase Teams, comprised of top players from all ALBION SC Affiliate clubs that will travel and play in ALBION CUP SPAIN in August 2022 in San Sebastian.

Teams will compete under the ALBION SC Hawaii name effective for the 2022-2023 season.

"We are so excited and happy to become part of the ALBION ʻOhana.  This move will enable us to raise our standards at all levels.  We are looking forward to coaching collaboration, player development opportunities, and a better pathway for our players.
