ANDREA RIECKE, DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS


Andrea was born and raised in Los Angeles, California where she played soccer in the Cal South Region from the age of 6. Andrea joined Maui United when her oldest son started soccer, and has been an integral part of the team's ʻOhana as a team manager, coach, club registrar, and most recently as the Director of Operations for ALBION SC Hawaii.

Prior to joining the ALBION SC Hawaii, Andrea was a Psychology lecturer at the University of Hawaii Maui College, as well as a realtor with Tri-Isle Realty and Development, and holds a Masterʻs degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Leadership Development and Coaching.

Andrea transitioned into the current position as the club merged with ALBION SC in 2019, overseeing the operations for both the Maui and Oahu clubs. As ALBION SC Hawaiiʻs Director of Operations, she manages Maui field operations, player registrations, as well as taking on the team manager liaison role, while overseeing the Hawaii Collegiate Camp and future ALBION CUP tournaments on Maui. Andrea currently holds an E coaching license and is on the field helping the U8-U12 Girls program.

Joy is originally from Atlanta, Georgia, where she lived until relocating to Kailua in 2018 when her husband began working for Hawaiian Airlines.

Joy’s professional involvement in soccer began through managing her sons’ youth teams at Concorde Fire (Atlanta, GA) and Real Salt Lake. Her role in the sport continued to grow as she managed teams through the years, supporting her children as they went on to play Division I soccer at Clemson University and the University of Louisville. Beyond team management, Joy played a key role in club operations, helping run the Georgia State ODP program, serving as the travel coordinator for the club’s DA teams, and ultimately finishing her tenure as the club’s College Recruiting Coordinator.

A graduate of Auburn University, Joy holds a degree in Marketing with a minor in Mathematics. She is also a licensed elementary school teacher. After moving to Hawaii, Joy retired from teaching and began working as the Business Manager for Le Jardin Soccer Academy. She currently serves as the Club Operations Director for ALBION SC Hawaii on Oʻahu, where she oversees administrative and operational functions supporting players, families, and staff.
